Walk your goal, every day
Your daily goal is set from your own walking history, so the target is fair for you, not for the fittest person in the group.
Settle at the finish
Finish every day and your full entry comes back with an equal share of what others forfeited.

Verified steps only
Counts come from Health Connect or Apple Health. Manual entries and implausible bursts are filtered out before a day is scored.
Private groups first
Challenges spread by a share link to people you already know. Your group holds you to it.

Questions people ask first
Who can join?
Anyone aged 18 or older with a Nigerian phone number. You sign in with a one-time code sent by SMS, so there is no password to remember.
How are my steps counted?
TrovaStep reads steps from Health Connect on Android or Apple Health on iPhone, with the phone step counter as a fallback. Manually typed entries never count.
What happens if I miss a day?
Missing a day means you do not finish that challenge. When at least one person finishes, the entries of everyone who missed are shared equally among the finishers.
What if nobody finishes?
Every paid participant gets their full entry back to their bank account. Free challenges have no entry fee, so nothing changes hands.
When do payouts arrive?
Challenges settle at 18:00 WAT the day after the last day. Payouts are sent to your saved Nigerian bank account, usually within an hour of settlement.
Can I play for free?
Yes. Your first challenge is free, and anyone can create a ₦0 challenge for their group. Free challenges need no payment details.
